Hair Style Album was founded in 2018 by Victoria Sinclair, a licensed hairstylist and colorist with over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. After spending a decade behind the chair at top salons in Manhattan, Victoria saw a gap between salon expertise and the everyday women searching for their next look.
What started as a passion project has grown into a trusted destination for hairstyle inspiration, reaching over 2 million readers each year. Our team of experienced stylists, colorists, and beauty writers work together to bring you curated content that celebrates all hair types, lengths, and textures.

A licensed hairstylist and colorist with over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. After spending a decade behind the chair at top salons in Manhattan, Victoria founded Hair Style Album in 2018 to bridge the gap between salon expertise and everyday women looking for their next look. She has collaborated with 500+ professional stylists and colorists, and her work has been featured in Allure, Harper's Bazaar, and Cosmopolitan. Victoria believes the right hairstyle isn't just about trends — it's about confidence.
Anna Santos
Senior Editor
Anna is responsible for the accuracy and formatting of all our content, bringing an amazing attention to detail to everything she touches. A graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelor of Arts in English (class of 2001), Anna ensures every article meets our rigorous editorial standards. When she is not perfecting prose, she enjoys spending quality time playing board games with her three kids.
Chloe Austin
Creative Director
Chloe oversees all photos published on Hair Style Album, bringing a great eye for design and hair trends to every visual decision. She graduated from the Houston Art Institute's Visual Design program in 2011 and has shaped our signature aesthetic ever since. Outside of work, Chloe loves taking her dog Missy on long walks and binge-watching shows on Netflix.
Emma Young
Social Media Director
Emma is the driving force behind our inspiring social media presence, with a great eye for beauty trends that resonate with our audience. She graduated from San Diego State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, specializing in public relations. When she is not crafting the perfect post, Emma enjoys surfing with her husband Nick and cooking new recipes.
Nick Simmons
Technology Director
Nick is responsible for all of the technology that powers Hair Style Album, writing custom code that makes every team member's job easier and more efficient. A self-taught developer with over 15 years of PHP experience, he keeps our platform fast and reliable. In his downtime, Nick enjoys reading biographies of history's most influential people.
Emily Chapman
Staff Writer
Emily is a prolific content creator and excellent wordsmith responsible for writing much of the content you see on the site. She graduated from the University of Washington in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Writing Emphasis. When she is not at her desk, Emily loves to hike and take nature photos with friends.
Hannah Weaver
Product Expert
Hannah is our go-to authority for reviewing and recommending hair products, combining scientific rigor with real-world testing. She graduated from Santa Clara University in 2010 with a B.S. in Chemistry and Biochemistry. On weekends, Hannah enjoys hikes with her husband Tim and their two dogs, Sadie and Bella.
