I’m sure all of us loved Elsa’s hair in the movie Frozen, and have often wondered whether it’s possible to style it like that. Well, the truth is, with some guide, tips, hairspray, curling iron, the right hair texture and a hairdryer, you can start braiding your hair like Elsa’s in no time.
First, start by blowing your hair away from your forehead and combing upwards and out. For greater texture, ensure that you spray your hair with sale spray before curling.
Then, for more volume on the front, apply texturising hairspray on the front and using a curling iron, curl your hair backwards away from the face. Pin the ends of your curled hair down and let it set for awhile.
Next, release the clips and tease at the root area for extra hold. After that, section your hair according to how your hair splits naturally, twist the sections and secure it to your head with bobby pins.
After that, french braid your hair at the back of your head, starting with hair from one section and adding more hair from the sides of your head as you braid downwards. Secure the end with an elastic but make sure you tie it up further at the top of the braid to leave some unbraided ends at the bottom.
Finally, loosen the braid to create a more vintage braid look. Also, remember to pull out strands of hair from around the face to create that unruly hair that Elsa has. Last of all, set your hair with hairspray and you are done!
